GELNCI PULLER a "city come-a walkin" fed particularly by the imaginations of Gene Ratsen, Shumnki, Gammajine and Limmhesto Gene imbues Gelnci with the power to change circumstances sheer inconvenient chaos ensuring none of em ever quite get comfy Shumnki hates being approached by people who have her pigeon holed and makes Gelnci a product shill who has something for everyone Gammajine is always worried about credibility not a mutant, not an artist, just a hanger-on the least weird of their little gang and so the city conspires to isolate her from her lifelines Limmhesto has exactly three friends, despises everyone else and wants it to stay that way so Gelnci finds ways to put him at the centre of incredibly public situations thus Gelnci is a god/goddess of progress and alienation allowing for Graydnmuch's complete corporatization making nothing, exporting nothing, wholly occupied with spying on itself and driving away the youth so that the dried up feel less mocked and because the four of them are still alive their alienation and frustration manifests in turn into the Mosephinite movement without any of them ever believing in the religious side their energy for art and expression (and magic in Shumnki's case) along with Gammajine's sheer frustration opens a punk conduit so the city itself and the personalities of the four main characters (hazel would be #1 but she's imprisoned in the spearmint tower) are responsible for all the conflicts
